About Us
This podcast was born at the University of Toronto, when Lian kept pestering Julia about watching films and Julia schooled Lian on classic rock. We decided to take matters into our own hands, and tackle the never-ending list of culturally important media that we need to consume.
Post-undergrad reality set in, so Lian tuned up her radio and media production skills at Humber College and Julia attended the Ontario College of Art & Design to become the amazing graphic designer she is today. Everything you see and hear on this podcast is done by the two of us, with some help from amazing mentors and friends!

LIAN (she/her)
Lian is a pop-culture obsessed drummer who plays for Toronto band cutsleeve. She is a chronic re-reader, re-watcher and re-listener who thrives on coming of age stories (she's just a twenty-something year old teenage girl!)
Her favourite soundtracks include Bend it Like Beckham, New Moon and Jennifer's body. Her guilty pleasures include buying stickers and holding onto overdue library books.
JULIA (she/her)
Julia is a reverb loving multi-instrumentalist with a soft spot for hedgehogs and doc martens. She has the speediest hands for crochet on this side of the atlantic and can be spotted with a different hair colour every six months.
Her favourite movies include Lord of the Rings (all of them), Hunt for the Wilderpeople, and the Princess Bride. Her dislikes include red lights and roll up the rim.
